COUPLES THERAPY
My work with couples is distinct from my work with individuals. It is essential that both partners feel comfortable working with me, both feel heard and their perspectives are both understood. My role is not to weigh in on who is right or wrong, but rather to help couples understand how the patterns of conflict originate and perpetuate, and ultimately, help couples learn to identify and break these cycles.
Couples
For those who are at an impasse. Despite efforts to resolve your conflicts on your own, you are ready for a third party to help you navigate back to a relationship you both want.
Pre-marital counseling
For those for whom wedding planning is a source of conflict, for whom parents and in-laws may feel overbearing, or simply for those who (wisely) wish to address basic marital issues—such as sexual intimacy, communicating when in conflict, shared finances, family planning—before getting married.
Pre-natal counseling
For those who are thinking about starting a family but want to address differing parenting styles, ideas around shared responsibilities, and anxieties which come with the prospect of becoming a parent.
